USA Series 44-60 (Vintage J)
We labored over the design of this instrument to combine the most desirable attributes of a vintage J-bass (the 1960 era slim neck, concentric control knobs, and best-in-class passive single coil pickups) and applied today’s leading edge technology (meticulous fingerboard leveling and impeccable fret installation, graphite reinforcement bars, enhanced neck joint, quarter sawn hard Rock Maple neck with a supple oil finish) to create a contemporary classic. The Lakland 44-60 has been the choice of professionals and a staple on the largest stages in the world for over 2 decades!
- Choice of Swamp Ash or Alder body or upgrade to a beautiful Quilted Maple or Flame Maple top
- Available Mother of Pearl, Abalone, or Ebony block inlays
- Turn the 44-60 into an active bass by adding the Lakland LH3 preamp with 3-band EQ
- Choose preamp and Maple top bundle package and save $100!
- Add a set of Lakland Chi-Sonic pickups and make it a J-Sonic 4!
Options: Available white or black neck binding and available matching headstock color on most finishes. The fretless version is available with either lined or unlined Ebony fingerboard. Available Hipshot Bass Xtender (D-Tuner).
All USA Series instruments include a hard shell case.
